It is the policy and commitment of children, light the world that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, religion, veteran status, or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.

Harassment and intimidation includes abusive, foul or threatening language or behavior. children, light the world is committed to maintaining a workplace that is free of any such harassment and will not tolerate discrimination against staff members, volunteers or agency clients. Issues of discriminatory treatment, harassment, or intimidation on any of these bases should immediately be reported to the Founder and, if substantiated, prompt action will be taken.

Complaints

File a program discrimination complaint by writing a letter addressed to children, light the world. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Founder and Board of Directors about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.
